News | News Index | News Archive Barny McKenna At Sionna Festival  The fourth annual Sionna Festival of World Music and Dance runs from 10th - 20th November and will take place in Limerick. One of the highlights of the event is a day-long celebration of banjo-playing in Ireland on Wednesday, November 15th. During an afternoon seminar, Barney will be interviewed at 2:30 PM and later that night appear in a special concert with Gerry O'Connor, John Carty, Mickey Dunne, Mick Moloney, Kieran Hanrahan and many more.
