News | News Index | News Archive Arís! Answering a question we received, we thought this little bit of trivia may be of interest to more of you who have seen the lads live recently. You may have noticed that Patsy can be heard saying "Arís" now and then before repeating the chorus of a song for the last time. The word is Gaelic and it is pronounced "areesh". It means exactly what the band does at these occasions: "Once more", to repeat the chorus once more. Photograph taken 5 September 2006, Vienna, Austria |
