Patsy Watchorn: Everything Wanted
Support The Official Archive!

Dear fans and friends of The Dubliners,

after nearly  50 years on the road, "The Dubs" have started to build up their own private archive. We already have collected some rare material from all over the world, mainly from radio and TV stations, but we are always looking for more, especially from private collectors. Rare Auld Times Entertainment, operating this site as the official website of Patsy Watchorn, herewith gladly supports this task as well as does John Sheahan himself.

Here's what we need:

The Dubliners: Private video footage and audio recordings of any of our concerts; privately taken photographs on and off stage; in case you have recorded their TV appearances, let us know, we still might need it; other memorabilia if you feel you own something rare.

Patsy Watchorn: Any and every video footage and audio recordings from all sources (private, TV, radio) and all stages of his career, either with one of his bands (The Quare Fellas, Dublin City Ramblers, Spot The Paddy) or solo; any photographs of Patsy Watchorn; any press clippings, posters, rare record releases, etc.

In case you supply us with new material, we gladly offer you some rarities out of the official collections in exchange.

Please contact us by emailing to

Your contact will be one of the following, officially appointed archivists of The Dubliners and Patsy Watchorn:
Gerhard Braas, Germany ("samundcandy" at the forum)
Peter Schittler, Austria ("RareAuldPete" at the forum)

As a little tidbit to whet your appetite, we have a video clip here for you that showcases moments of each of the Dubliners, set to a song by Luke Kelly we're sure you never heard before (4.349 KB): Please click here!
